Yes, we're alive...

Well, it's been awhile, and since I posted last we've added a new member to the family and bought a house! Currently, we are living in a 5th wheel thanks to Nick's generosity...while our house is (slowly) getting ready for us to move in. Here are a few pictures to show our progress on the house...and our new girl, Shasta :-)

These next two pictures are so wonderful to us...though they may seem like a regular ol' water heater and some copper pipes, they weren't there a few weeks ago! The owners before us cut alllll the copper they could see, and some electrical wires too. They almost made this house impossible for us to buy, so we are sooooo happy to see these in!

And now. Still more to be done, but we're getting there! I don't have any before pics of the tile that used to be in the kitchen and laundry room, but it was nasty! Now we have nice new maple floors to match the rest of the house.

And now. Soon there will be a concrete counter top, darker cabinets, and a cool sink :-)

And, our little Shasta girl. She is a mix of Siberian Husky and Arctic/Timber/McKenzie Valley Wolf. We got her a few weeks ago and she is just the sweetest thing! She has one brown eye and one half blue, half brown eye. She is so very well behaved and is teaching Bandit how to play nice.
