Well, typically this picture blog is Sara's thing...But for a certain reason, one that hopefully will never happen again, I was obligated to take over. Basically, Saturday Sara and I went on a challenging bike ride in Rancho Penasquitos and it went a little haywire. Roundtrip it was 10.5 miles, half of which we had previously hiked by foot. I was in front of Sara on our way back when I heard a weird sound behind me. We were going down a steep hill with all sorts of loose cobble stones and Sara lost control. Honestly the pictures don't show how bad it looked, I was freaked out, when I first ran up it looked pretty bad. She was twisted up with the bike, the handle bars bruised her chest and thighs. She was so tough though, she rode/walked all 3 long miles back to our car! Tough German blood I tell you! haha. So Sara is out of commission for a little while, we're very thankful she wasn't hurt worse!
p.s. I am never writing another blog for Sara because it took 10 minutes of verbal torture to fix all the spelling/grammatical errors

TG
Thanksgiving was fun this year, unfortunately our camera was low on battery and the lighting was bad most of the time, so there are only a few pictures. There was a cool rainbow on the way up though...

More Hiking...
Saturday we went hiking again, this time in the Los Penasquitos Preserve. We were promised a waterfall at the end of our hike, but it was very small and very crowded with kids climbing all over the rocks, so we didn't get any good pictures of it. It was a perfect day for hiking, it wasn't too hot...but it ended up being a very long hike, over 6 miles!

Babysitting
Saturday we got to baby-sit sweet little Amelia for a few hours. After spending time with her aunties and uncles, she can now say Cece (that means Aunt Linzy, I'm not sure if that's spelled right though), and I think she could already say Uncle Bow, so we can't take credit for that one. We're still working on Gene and Dhasa.
