Exploration

This afternoon/evening our contractor was installing our tile and cooktop...so to keep busy we took the dogs up to the top of Dictionary Hill (the hill we live on) to see what we could see. Rumor has it the hill got its name from long ago when the hill was first purchased. Every person who bought a lot of land was given a dictionary. Don't know the reason behind it...maybe so they could look up more words to describe the amazing view???

It's pretty incredible all you can see from up here. Don't know if you can see the labels I made, but if you click on the picture I think you can see the picture larger. From left to right, you can see: the Silver Strand, Point Loma, the Coronado bridge, and downtown San Diego. Pretty cool!

  2. The view is amazing but I think I like looking at the puppies more :) I love the picture of Shasta jumping, she is getting so big. I also can't believe Bandit...he looks different, older maybe and cuter than ever. I miss him :( Have fun hiking!

  3. We think that Shasta looks like a coyote from the back, especially in those natural surroundings. Don't tell her though, a wolf might get offended over that. ;)

Amazing views, you guys are blessed!

  5. I know what you mean, Bandit's looks have changed and I'm not sure how? Maybe he is fatter? Hehe :) Shasta is just a teeny bit taller than him now. They are so cute when they're walking side by side together!
